Introduction

This leaflet was made by the Russian Transhumanist Movement. The English version was demoed at TransVision 2006 and people generally liked it.

The leaflet can be translated into other languages, adapted, modified to reflect local specifics and printed. It is an attractive give-away item that can serve as a good introduction to transhumanism and local transhumanist developments.

The document is well suited for many groups, from ordinary people, to students to professional scientists, etc.

The RTM have printed 6000 copies of the Russian version. They are available for distribution.

How to localise the leaflet

1. Download the package above
2. Translate the text into selected language
3. Find quotes by well-known local figures
4. Write about transhumanism in your country
5. Write about your local projects and information resources in your language
6. Send text for the artwork (name of your local organisation and the labels such as AI, nano, cogno, etc. for the illustration on the last page) to Danila Medvedev and have the images changed into your language
7. Send the finished translation (preferably in MS Publisher or in MS Word - in that text comment on layout - what goes where) to Danila Medvedev
8. Get a full-quality PDF from Danila Medvedev
9. Print it at any local printing shop (prices are likely to be about 1$/copy for small volumes and about 0.1$/copy when printing about 3000)
