4 approaches to persuading someone that immortality is good

 

  1. Rational - emphasis on strong arguments
  2. Emotional - emphasis on emotional appeal
  3. Communicative (technical) - emphasis on communication techniques (salesmanship, persuasion)
  4. Psychological - if you know the psychological causes of deathism (which we don't), you can directly target and destroy them.

 

I think approach 4 is the best, but we need to find out the causes first.

 

Other approaches are only marginally effective (right now), they can be combined and developed.
